Strategic Financial Solutions Donates Over 350 Pounds of Food to Benefit the Food Banks of New York City and Western New York

New York, NY,  Strategic Financial Solutions held its 5th Annual Food Drive to benefit local communities in need. The company announced to employee-owners that all collected non-perishables goods would benefit the Food Banks of New York City and Western New York.  Between Strategic’s three New York offices, over 350 pounds of food was collected and donated to the Food Bank.  This is the largest food donation since Strategic started the Food Drive.

"Over 50 million U.S. citizens do not have enough food. That is more than 15% of the U.S. population," said Ryan Sasson, CEO.  "We feel that is our responsibility to help in any way possible. Our employee-owners truly united to make these donations possible. Together we can really make a difference in our communities."

During the drive, 350 pounds of non-perishable goods were donated, including more than 190 lbs. of rice and beans, over 100 boxes of pasta, and 46 jars of pasta sauce. Since the creation of Food Bank NYC, over 1.2 trillion meals have been provided to people in need.

"The Buffalo community constantly rallies together to give back to those who are hungry or need help. Sadly, 1 in 8 people struggle with hunger in Buffalo alone," said VP of Customer Service Andrew Pyne. "Strategic is always looking for ways to benefit our community and we hope this donation provides support to those in need during this holiday season."
