Strategic Financial Solutions Commits $20,000 to the Olmsted Conservancy to help Repair Delaware Park After the J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge

Buffalo, NY, - Strategic Financial Solutions became the first major underwriter of the Delaware Park repair by committing $20,000 to the Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy. The park sustained significant damage due to heavy rain during the J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge.

“The Buffalo Corporate Challenge is an event that our whole team looks forward to every year. After hearing about the damage that was caused by the weather, we felt it was important to help the Buffalo community that has welcomed Strategic with open arms,” said Ryan Sasson, CEO. “Strategic’s experience in Buffalo has been extraordinary. When we opened our Buffalo office, we talked about how much Buffalonians love their city and we see that every day with our Strategic Family and also with events like the Corporate Challenge. We are excited to be part of the community and to participate in this event for many years to come. We hope our donation will help repair the park to its original beauty.”

“As an owner and leader at Strategic for over 2 years, I could not be prouder of my company and our decision to help the Conservancy,” said Andrew Pyne, Vice President of Customer Service. “My family and I live in Elwood Village, and we raised our children there, and Delaware Park has been a consistent and meaningful part of our lives. Whether its coaching and playing soccer with Delaware Soccer Club, kickball leagues, hiking, and more, Delaware Park is a major part of my family’s life. For Strategic to make a significant investment in its health is a clear statement and example of our commitment to Buffalo and the Western New York area.”

“The Conservancy is grateful for the expedient action and offer of funding assistance from Strategic Financial Solutions in the wake of the weather impacted by the Corporate Challenge,” said Stephanie Crockatt, Executive Director, Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy. “It’s local companies like this that can make all the difference in our community, and when they step up we all step forward. Delaware Park will soon be in stages of repair, and we are thankful to all who have contributed.”

“I am honored to part of a company that values its people and home as much as Strategic does,” said Robert Duggan, Vice President of Operations. “Being born and raised in Buffalo, I have a special appreciation for the Corporate Challenge and Delaware Park. I grew up across the street from the park and still go there 2 to 3 nights a week. I had mixed emotions after seeing the damage to the park after such an amazing event. This event means a lot to our company and our employee-owners. I’m not surprised that we’re helping with the repairs in such a significant way since we are company whose foundation is helping people. We love being an integral part of the community and look forward to participating in this event, and others like it, for many years to come.”
